Application of Integral? and got a better answer

Most likely it is connected with various calculations of physical properties of something and probably with complex calculations related to energy levels and potentials In inorganic chemistry it is necessary to calculate quite a lot of equations related to potentials of atoms in order to know for example if these two atoms will join into a molecule or not whether all this good is stable or will split back into atoms after n seconds, etc. Integrals MAY be used in complex equations.

You have to do calculations everywhere. Imagine that the rate of a chemical reaction changes with time, for example the reaction decays. By the way, in geometry it is used with a similar purpose - to calculate curves of areas

Integrals have the most extensive use in chemistry in theoretical chemistry, for example - in quantum chemistry. One of the most famous chemical integrals is the overlap integral. It shows to what extent the electron clouds of interacting atoms and molecules overlap. The strength and rigidity of the resulting chemical bond depends on it directly, although far from linearly.
