In Europe, each passenger in an airline company is insured for a tidy sum, and it is more profitable for airlines to buy new planes than to pay relatives of victims. And in Russia it's more profitable for the airline company to use worn-out airplanes, and if anything to pay out tiny compensation to the relatives of the victims. They're saving Boeings for VIPs, I guess. They fly Tushkas and will keep flying until they kill them all.

Heh. Our FU's aren't that bad at all. Just someone's brains are fucked up, if you'll excuse me. And the fact that Europe is nibbling on Pulkovo is the answer to the rising cost of flying over Russia for European airlines. There can be no complaints to Aeroflot - it is the largest buyer of both new Western planes and their old junk, which it then resells to Pulkovo and all sorts of Siberia.
