no. the juice will run out. just boil it in half water. once it's boiling add cold water and so on a couple of times. pour hot water off and pour cold water on. it'll boil over faster

I don't know if I don't cut it. That's how it cooks uncut.

What's the occasion? The juice leaks out, water gets in, the beets turn pale.

That's not true. I've been cooking beets in the microwave for a long time much faster just washing them. And it still loses juice.

Raw is healthier! Wash, peel, grate on a fine chopper and eat. No need to think about cooking!

Not true. The juice comes out of that cut. I boil beets in a steamer I suggest you try it.

I've never steamed will juice not leak.I always cut off the tail. First, there is always stuck dirt and wash it as there is always no time and secondly, if it has lain there are some hard places that are already necessary to cut out. Listen to your mother.

no. I boil it this way - medium beets - about 1 5 hours small - 1 hour from the boil. then quickly drain the water to put the beets under a stream of cold water. from the shock the beets immediately become soft.

No one is going anywhere, but a cropped beet tail doesn't do anything either.

Nonsense to me, it's easier for me to pull it back by the tail

No. You don't have to trim it. You can boil it, but it tastes better baked in foil in the oven. See cooking sites.
