It's only a reaction with baking soda, pour half the water and a couple spoonfuls of citric acid.

Pour vinegar to taste, and don't mess with citric acid, since it's such a hassle.

Pour water at least up to the level of scale in the kettle. If the scale is at the bottom - so that it covers the scale From the amount of water depends on the amount of citric acid. For 0.7 liters, I usually only have 2 tablespoons at this level of scale. Boil it and leave it to stand for a couple of hours, then rinse the kettle. And nothing escapes anywhere.

don't boil it. Heat it till it's hot and turn it off. Then it won't run away.

Kettle of this volume I clean with baking soda in the country, half a liter of water and baking soda over the edge of the packet by eye clearly more than 2 spoons once every five boiled and leave until the next visit kettle even squeaks after such an execution At work the kettle is slightly larger than 1, 8 l it clean with citric acid 15 g acid packet and 1 l of water boil let cool repeat three times without changing the solution in the kettle, then pour it out, boil a full kettle of clean water and pour out then use as usual It is certainly not the final truth - just my personal experience and as life has shown quite working
