I didn't change it anyway. Then I got divorced and got my last name back. Or you can drive around with a copy of your registration certificate.

According to the law - any changes require re-registration within 5 days. Otherwise you have to pay a fine of 50p.

VU really in case of doubts passport + marriage certificate will fit GTO without making changes it will not pass. i drove a year, did not change it then within two days changed.VU and the car license + license plates + GTO in general, not only the new name, but the registration and.esho many things meow-FFFFF good luck!
