Because inter-human relationships evolve and differentiate i.e. a new subtlety noticed by someone - which eliminates the wormhole in the available stereotype - has appeared in something. And stereotypes are given to us by the great Tolstoy Shakespeare and others to make a quick and correct choice of action in those or other circumstances, the results of which will bring less harm to you and those around you.

The mass of information which falls on the person forces him somehow to adapt. In order to avoid repeating what has been learned over and over again, the most optimal or simple reactions to external stimuli are fixed. Like reflexes. And since it is at the level of thinking, a man believes that he has developed a life position, taking as a stereotype of thinking or attitude or something else. And it is almost impossible to move from this position - it is perceived as an ego-threat. And stereotypicality is also tied to personal responsibility for what is going on. A very valuable human quality is proactivity: the ability to act on one's own will regardless of external influences. Our behavior depends on our decisions, not on our environment. Proactivity proceeds from an important principle: freedom of choice remains between a stimulus and a person's reaction. A proactive person always tries to make a choice according to common sense before reacting to irritation in one way or another.
