You know my mother died 35 years ago and I still can't believe it and I think about her every day. And my beloved husband died a year ago and I feel like he is still with me. I feel like people don't die as long as they are remembered. Your mom is alive for you and will always be with you. I believe that those you love are trying to help you and save you when things get really bad. Hang in there! Because your being a happy person is the best memorial to those who are gone.

is alive in your Heart, in your thoughts, in your dreams, and she also tenderly and caringly watches over your sleep at night, worries and wishes you happiness! I think the most terrible thing is to lose your mother, I sympathize with you sincerely

Because a person only dies with the memory of them.

My condolences! Yes rightly said Dimon, she lives in his heart and his soul is with him! So don't worry about it, let it be like it is!

Dear Tosha! If your mom was a Christian, or even prayed before she died, which you may not know, she has Eternal Life. She's just not here right now, but she's fine.

will have to accept it. Loved ones stay in our hearts even after they are gone. I advise you to go to church and order a Liturgy and pray for your mom every day for a year it will help both you and your mom's soul.

Nothing disappears without a trace. I have the same feeling too. I buried my dad 1 1/2 years ago. To make you feel better - LET YOUR MOM GO THERE, DON'T HOLD HER, DON'T HAVE HER. REMEMBER HER AND SMILE. SHE WILL ALWAYS BE THERE FOR YOU. JUST LET HER GO, THOUGHTS ATTRACT BOTH POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE TOO.

Mom will always be missed, so you have to accept it and move on.

Maybe because you don't let her go and disturb her with your memories?

I know what you mean. My dad died 4 years ago and my mom died a year ago. I still feel their presence sometimes, especially when I feel bad or can't make a choice. They are there for me, they help me, they keep me from doing something stupid. They're parents. Just be glad you feel that way, it'll make life a little easier. Or maybe it's my prejudices and we just can't get over it.
