Try explaining to a five year old where babies come from. Now imagine that you have 10 of those kids a day. In what time do you think these explanations will begin to bore you and you will stop smiling at each new child? And the kids will walk away from you and think you are a mean aunt. Or here's another example. Imagine a person blind from birth trying to explain to you what a rainbow is. And imagine three such blind people a day. Every day. And you can't send them away, because that's their job. Have I explained?

Great responsibility. It's their job to help the dummies. Besides, there are big purchases of powerful systems and $3000 and $5000. If they make a mistake in picking something, it's a scandal. And the stink. Also, it's a job just for the people who work there.

Because usually the bosses are not interested in salesmen being affectionate and polite. And because they're bored with the same thing all day long, they're bored with the same thing. If I had been paid for my natural politeness - I might not have left the computer store where I was polite for 2 years and humming for 3 years.

I think - just the opposite! Most of them have learned everything like parrots and talk rubbish - like RADEON from NVIDIA!
