Is it true that the development of technology can stop? and got a better answer

Response from
People are always coming up with something new, I think and now they will come up with something Also, technology does not have to develop horizontally, it will just improve the existing technology, which will move to a completely different level Besides, not everything in nature is known to us, and new discoveries will give new opportunities in development?

People are always coming up with something new, I think they will come up with something now as well Besides, technology does not necessarily have to develop horizontally, just the existing technologies will be improved, which will move to a completely different level Besides, not everything in nature is known to us, and new discoveries will give new opportunities in development

Yes. If the development of science stops.

I think the development of new technologies will never stand still. Man will always be inventing something new. So this question is useless.

I don't think. As long as there are people and at least some brains in their heads, the development of technology theoretically shouldn't stop.

There is a broader question here. It is discussed in detail in S. Lem's Sum of Technologies. There are some variants: 1 New technologies will be so much, that some from them and probably the overwhelming majority will inevitably stop in development 2 Growth will proceed infinitely 3 Growth will be jumps 4 Some technologies will be lost Well and other variants too are possible.

Well first of all, nano-technology is still the future! There are many theories about what nano technology will give. >I.e. theoretically on this _technology_ can stop, as further, in principle, nowhere else.< And why somewhere else to go deep? On this basis it is possible to create many more things! That is why science still has a great deal to do! Moreover, the concept of science is so multidimensional: it is technology, and phenomena, and patterns, and human relations - all now science: so there will not be such a thing that here all stood up and nothing new: there will always be something new!
