Do I have that question? and got a better answer

The hell will it do, it'll warm up a bit more, no big deal, but you'll have to try to bring it to critical?

The hell with it, it'll warm up a little more or nothing, and to a critical mark it is necessary to try!

That's not the question! Just think what's gonna happen to him!

probably end up overheating if you put it on the soft top. if you need to, just buy a docking station for your notebook. it's not too expensive.

Response from 0[+++++]
it will get a little hotter from below will be a bad heat dissipation through the blanket but basically nothing will happen with the fans blowing sideways though anything is possible

Response from 0[+++]
Overheat Put it on the bed over the tray.

Response from 0[++]
If the bed is not dusty you may, but if it is dirty I would not advise it.

Response from 0[++]
I don't think anything will happen to it.

As always some of the answers are original. The notebook has fans underneath that cool it down. if you put it on the soft, you close them and there is a danger of overheating. put it on something solid or buy a special stand for it

Response from 0[+++++]
You want it to fail fast, put it on. It's not about the bed or couch, but that notebook should stand on a flat smooth surface that the air could freely pass under the bottom and get in for ventilation. And where this surface will be located - no difference.
