If you have company, I suggest the Hilton New Waiba Coral Resort. You can go to the Hilton New Baba Coral Resort which is about 160km by bus from Sharm but is an oasis in the desert with no other hotels around.

was at the Hilton in Dahab, which is 90 km from Sharm. The hotel is very nice. Even for Egypt, I was very surprised. Actually the Hilton chain hotels are decent everywhere.
