Once the top is cut off, it must be planted in good soil. But in order for the pineapple to take root, it has to be cut off from a good mature pineapple. We managed to do it only once, and then it didn't take root no matter how many times we planted it. And the first one grew, but hit by a curtain and it broke - broke. Too bad?

Cut it off, plant it in the ground, water it. Tried it - didn't work.

Mine is 6 years old, I just planted the top with the core in good soil, I do not even take care of it, maybe I was just lucky.

The main thing is that the top is not frozen. It can even grow a soapy pineapple - you need to cover the bush with a jar filled with smoke, and thus start the mechanism of reproduction.

only if you smoke a lot of cones beforehand.
