Ghost - the external manifestation of an entity from the subtle world, usually believed to be dead people. So to speak, compacted to our reality. A ghost is something that is ghosted, not necessarily a ghost. It is a more general concept, close to a vision. Although, ghosts and apparitions are often identified. Whichever way one likes.
