Leased line is a special telephone line which is connected to the provider without switching, so it's used only for data transmission and is never busy. But it is very expensive. The best permanent connection is ADSL, LAN, cable modem. The speed depends on the ISP, the type of connection, the quality of the line at the last mile, the modem, the modem and computer settings. And my speed is 1 mbps overseas, 14 mbps in the country. Not in Russia.

I agree. If you have ADSL, it depends on the time of day and the quality of the tel. line. A leased line is more serious will be, and more expensive.

Yours is fine, even good, given the maximum modem 56 Kbps I writes 46.6, but in reality always gives less.

Satellite Internet 128 kbit / s = 16 kbytes / s is the minimum rate can be switched to 256, 512 and 1024. and the request to GPRS 115kbit / s rate gives the provider, but you set yourself at will and as required.
