My youngest son is studying at the Golitsyn Border Guard Institute. I was afraid of army too, now I worry about another thing - what lottery ticket will fall out on graduation.The situation changes day by day. But he doesn't complain, he is hardy and independent now. Only my motherly heart is still not in place?

Mine won't go! He has a physical DEFECTS! It's a case of no fortune but misfortune.

No, my husband is in the army and I know all about it. That's why I want a girl.

At the moment I would not like it very much. One consolation is that we are still at least 4 years away from the army.

In ours, alas, no. But he would have gone to a military school or maritime school. And then you can get further education.

And now the army is asking: "Dear mother, if you would be so kind as to give us your son, we'll give him back to you in one piece! Oh no? Well, then we're sorry to bother you any further.

Response from 0[+++++]
Yes. Only because he'll have his own way of life.

Not now, but when my grandfather was in the army, I would have given him up.

Actually, today's boys lack the school of life. They are very attached to their mothers and can't take care of themselves. Plus it's a good reason to prove to themselves that they can do something. But unfortunately there is a lot of negativity in our army. I do not want my son to serve, but I regret what he will lose.

To our army is the same as to send him to war. No way.

Definitely not for anything and never.

Unfortunately, I have nothing to be proud of. My ex-husband was a professional soldier. My boys will serve only in the Bundeswehr. The older one really wants to, but I have time and there we will see.

Sure. What's he doing there? Nothing to do there

I dread to think about it. My husband returned from the army a changed man, he was in hot spots. Thank God he is alive, but his head was bad at first. The army is not just a school of life like before, it was just peacetime war. My husband told me he saw very green soldiers killed after they served for about three months, it was totally nuts and horrible. We are still a long way off, but I think this is a nightmare for any mother of a son.
