One branch of the faith supports the Old Testament and the New Testament.

The divergences are of a very complex theological nature of which the most important is that of the philiocles. Discrepancies in worship. Disregard for icons in Catholicism and disregard for sculptures in Orthodoxy. Communion with unleavened bread and leavened dough in Catholics, shaving beards, etc. But these are only some of the reasons. And then there are political financial historical grievances, etc., etc. These are all extremely interesting and very important.
