I don't think that's true. I have a few more than three families I know - and nothing like that. There are Germans, Tatars, Jews, even Poles. But there are no Ukrainians in the family of anyone I know. So the data is probably exaggerated. Just for the sake of the red phrase. Just look at the numbers yourself.

Of course it's true, it's also true that not only Ukrainians, but also many others.

Vitaly, where did you learn to ask questions so that I do not understand you to the bone.

Ukrainians along with Belorussians and Great Russians are part of the Russian super-ethnos, i.e. Russians.

Ukraine used to be part of the USSR. We are kindred peoples. Do you understand what I'm writing?

simpler than that, there is a concept "Slavs" and there is no getting away from it. It is politicians who benefit from dividing people into Muscovites, Khokhlites, etc. The principle has been known since the times of ancient Rome - divide and conquer.

Speak Russian! I don't know, it sounds true. You should understand that we are brotherly peoples! We are more together than apart! If we stick together, everyone will be better off. People like you who divide us by claiming your separateness are only making things worse for you than for us.

Of course it's true everyone is mixed up. At our workplace, 70 percent of employees have surnames ending in Ko. And if you look at how many Ukrainian families have Russian roots?

Response from 0[+++++]
In Russia, just like in Ukraine, every family has such roots, and not just Ukrainian, that now it is hard to make sense of the national question. In the U.S. if you call a black man a Negro, you immediately go to jail.

I do not know about thirds, I have such roots, but what about Russian roots in Ukrainian families?

Response from 0[+++++]
Yes in principle why not. In me, for example, 50 Khohlyatsky roots are expressed in my love for salo borsch and vareniks.

Response from 0[+++++]
Not exactly so. It's another matter that the assimilation of Russians and Ukrainians amounts to: 17% in the RF and 76% in Ukraine.

Response from 0[+++++]
That's right. I come from such a family myself, although I do not live in Russia but in the Baltics.

Response from 0[+++++]
looks like that. But it does not mean anything. They don't know the language and don't identify with Ukraine, so if anything, don't get your hopes up. You know what I mean.

Response from 0[+++++]
Ukrainians from ancient Russia
