Two possibilities: either the machine is malfunctioning or the memory card. Check them separately: you need to format the card on the machine before taking a picture on another one.

I am not quite clear: -who gave the error that the memory was full when shooting? Wasn't it the camera? 14052705: -Who gave you the error "memory full" when you were shooting, was it not the camera?
